𝐀𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦

The team at Deprez is creating 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 for the operations of Bioterra NV in Genk. Here, raw materials are cleaned and stored in bunkers for further processing at a later stage.

Transport from the soil-cleaning facility to storage in one of the 16 bunkers is handled by Deprez. The storage facility for sand and aggregates extends over 250 meters. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐫 along a route of at least 120 meters and up to 240 meters.

In these photos, you can see how the Bioterra NV site is progressing. Currently, concrete walls are being poured, which will later support the conveyor belts. These modifications will improve internal logistics, leading to higher efficiency.
